"A gripping, funny, page-turning, pretty much perfect work of magical literature."--Neil Gaiman There hadn't been any trouble out at the lake in years. Sunshine just needed a spot where she could be alone with her thoughts for a minute/5(K). Sunshine by Robin McKinley was an amazing book. I grew up as a teen in the beginning of the vampire craze: Sookie Stackhouse, Bella Whatshername, and all .

Sunshine's unexpected powers are subtle and unusual, not just another variation on stock magic or were capabilities. McKinley also avoids making her vampires stock sex objects and instead describes a deeply uncanny creature that's far more frightening than it is attractive. Till now, author McKinley has contributed a total of 20 books in her writing career. The most recent novel written by her is titled as Ebon. Author Mckinley was born on Novem, in Warren, Ohio, The United States. Her birth name is Jennifer Carolyn Robin McKinley. Sunshine by Robin McKinley Okay, so there will be discussion of the Project Runway final collections, but for now we're going to take a break and review a book! Sunshine is a fantasy novel featuring vampires written by Robin McKinley and published by Berkley Publishing Group in Sunshine won the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature in Title: Sunshine. Author: Robin McKinley. Series: n/a. Too much story, left with more questions than answers. I wasn’t going to review this one, but it’s haunted me the last couple of days since I finished it. I don’t feel like I have closure on it, so maybe if I get my thoughts down on paper (as it were), I can get it out of my head. I haven't read any Robin McKinley for years and Sunshine made me wonder why. It was a good vampire story. It was a good vampire story. McKinley's world was a lot of fun, sometimes disturbing and sometimes just odd, but always a nice place to be.
